Afterschool Childcare at the Y 

AFTERSCHOOL REGISTRATION for the 2026-2027 school year will open by July 1st! 

• YMCA Afterschool Program

  Give your child a safe, fun, and active place to go after school! Our Afterschool Program includes transportation from participating schools, a healthy snack, homework assistance, physical activity, and engaging group activities led by caring, trained YMCA staff.

  We’ll pick them up from school—you pick them up at the YMCA by 6:00 PM.

  Program Information

  • Program Dates: First day of school through May 28, 2027
  • Registration Fee: $50 per child
  • Sibling Discount: $5 off the weekly fee for each additional child

  Weekly Rates (Hattiesburg)

  • YMCA Members: $79/week
  • Non-Members: $90/week

  Holiday Camp

  Holiday Camps are not included in weekly tuition and require separate registration and payment.

  • Members: $100/week
  • Non-Members: $122/week

  MDHS Child Care Payment Program (CCPP) accepted. Financial Assistance is available for qualifying families and must be approved prior to registration. Please allow up to two weeks for processing.
