Personal Training
Reach your fitness goals with personalized guidance from one of our certified YMCA Personal Trainers. Whether you’re just getting started, returning to exercise, or looking to take your workouts to the next level, our trainers will create a customized program based on your goals, fitness level, and abilities.
With one-on-one coaching, motivation, and accountability, you’ll gain the confidence and support you need to achieve lasting results. Contact Member Services to learn more or schedule your first session.
- Fitness Center Teen Safety Seminar
Teen Safety Program
The YMCA Teen Safety Program is designed for members ages 13–14 and teaches the safe and proper use of fitness equipment, wellness center etiquette, and basic workout techniques. Completion of this program is required before teens may use the fitness center independently.

- Parkinson’s Exercise Program
Parkinson’s Wellness Program
The Parkinson’s Wellness Program (PWP) at The Family YMCA of Southeast Mississippi is designed to help individuals living with Parkinson’s disease improve strength, balance, mobility, and overall quality of life through specialized exercise.
The program is based on the latest neuroplasticity-focused exercise principles and is led by physical therapists who are board-certified in Geriatric and Neurologic Physical Therapy, providing participants with safe, effective, and evidence-based instruction.
