The Family YMCA of Southeast Mississippi is overjoyed to announce that we are 2026 STEP into Swim Grant Recipients! This is an incredible honor and a huge step forward in our mission to ensure that every child has the opportunity to learn to swim, build confidence in the water, and stay safe while having fun.
The STEP into Swim Grant recognizes programs that are committed to making swim lessons accessible and inclusive for all children! With this funding, we will be able to expand our swim lessons and provide scholarship assistance to ensure that no child misses out on learning this vital life skill due to cost barriers.
Learning to swim is not just about fun, it’s about empowering children to feel comfortable and capable in the water, setting them up for a lifetime of healthy activity.

Small Group Swim Lessons
Strong Swimmers. Confident Kids.
Help your child build confidence, develop essential water safety skills, and become a stronger swimmer with our Small Group Swim Lessons at The Family YMCA of Southeast Mississippi!
With only four swimmers per class, each child receives personalized instruction in a fun, encouraging environment.
